We are honoured and thrilled to take home the award for Technical Innovation (Infrastructure) at the Global Light Rail Awards 2022 which took place in London. This was the 16th time this event has been held and it draws an international audience for what is considered the “Oscars” for this sector. Matt, Kathrina and Keith attended the event on behalf of the team and a great night was had meeting old and new colleagues.
Our submission for the award was based on a project we worked with Transdev Sydney on (we wrote about that in a previous blog post) and is based around our Event Management System.
Here’s some of what the judges had to say;
“Our top award goes to a small team who are on a mission to remove time-intensive, inefficient and wasteful paper-shuffling from the operations and maintenance of our transit networks.”
They continued “They have created a new secure cloud-based system that integrates with all internal and external legacy databases to provide a single source of truth by digitising countless manual processes. Almost infinitely customisable and scalable as the network grows, it covers maintenance, operations, assets, IT, safety, customer service and HR with one user-friendly solution for reporting and analysis”.
Winning the award was testament to the dedication of our team and it was hugely rewarding to win against entries from Australia, Spain and the UK.
